Debut album now available as a free download!

In a move of unprecedented generosity, we’ve decided to offer our debut album as a free MP3 download!  All ten tracks are available now from our Bandcamp site at fakegods.bandcamp.com.  All we ask in return is your email address for our mailing list (which we promise never to sell or pass on, and we won’t spam you).

Of course, we’re still looking to sell the CD version of the record too, it is available to order on our Music page for £3 plus £1.50 P&P.  All CD’s purchased via this site will be signed by us both.  A bargain!

'Wine To Water'

'Wine To Water' is just about finished.  We hope to finalise recording this week and move on to mixing.  Artwork is coming along nicely.  Look out from covers from some of our favourite artists including Son Volt, Richard Shindell, The The, Love & Money, Tragically Hip, and R.E.M.

Who are the guys in the picture?

They are members of Fake Gods, a folk-rock/ Americana outfit from Central Scotland (sic). They have a shared musical appreciation and sensibility, and boundless energy and creative spirit.  They enjoy an organic, thoughtful music-making process, originality and/or faithful interpretation, and storytelling.  Debut album 'Wine To Water' will hit the shops (sic) around March 2009 and there are high hopes for them (or is that 'from' them?).  Only time will tell if you feel rewarded for your patience on this here blog. 

Enough already.  There's too much damned information on this internet.
